"Florentine circus" is a modern circus (no animal performances), combining contemporary dance, theater and street performing. In our productions you can see the variety of all the different circus genres - amazing acrobats, attractive aerialists, adorable contortionists, funny clowns, talented jugglers, famous magicians, acrobats walking on a wire, unicycle riders and many other artists...

The circus was established in 2002 in the old Florentine neighborhood in Tel - Aviv known for being the hot spot for young painters, designers, actors and performance artists. In the earliest years of its existence, Florentine circus was a small cooperation of creative and hard working artists, all of them envisioning the idealistic definition of performing arts. During the years, the circus developed its perspectives and belief in the importance of a well built professional team, opening its doors to different kinds of ideas, activities and sponsorships. As a result the circus has managed to bring happiness and satisfaction to thousands: audiences, participants, visitors and friends.

During the past few years Florentine Circus has been involved in many charity based projects for the welfare of the community and for organizations that assist people suffering from diseases and disabilities. Nowadays the circus is located in the north of
Tel - Aviv, in the middle of a beautiful and inviting village - "Hakfar Hayarok" which also hosts the Kfar Hayarok boarding school for disadvantaged children.

Florentine Circus holds its activities in two circus tents, a big Circus tent and a smaller one, providing a venue able to accommodate about 600 visitors. Outside the tents you can enjoy the beautiful garden which is also part of the circus, specially designed for the enjoyment of children and fit to hold many other activities and events.

The circus holds weekly shows, daily workshops for children and adults, birthday parties, family and company events, private and group lessons for beginners or advanced talented Circus art enthusiasts, of all age groups.
